I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to Wichita, Kansas for the 89th American Rabbit Breeders Convention. The Indianapolis convention last year celebrated our 101st year of organized rabbit exhibitions. That convention kicked off our second century of exhibiting our rabbits and cavies. That tradition of exhibition will continue this year in Wichita.

The last convention in Wichita was well attended and extremely successful. I have no doubts that this convention will be even better. The host group is extremely experienced and they stand ready to make this a memorable convention for all who attend. The convention facility is centrally located and many accommodations are within walking distance of the convention center. Everything points to another great convention in Kansas.

Conventions are a great chance to meet up with old friends, compete against the best animals in the country, and perhaps acquire some different breeding stock. I hope that everyone is able to take advantage of those opportunities by joining us in Wichita.
